Bio
tafony is a Vancouver based live electronic performer working entirely in hardware. Sets are performed live on Eurorack rig, no laptop, moving between EBM, synth punk, drum and bass, and looser modular improvisation depending on the room.
Alongside the live shows, tafony runs a YouTube channel built around module demos, patch tutorials, and the ongoing Rambling About series.
Live Setup
Fully hardware and fully live. tafony performs on a dawless Eurorack rig driven by an external sequencer: no laptop, no backing tracks, nothing pre-recorded. Every set is patched and played in the moment, so it can lean into EBM, synth punk, drum and bass or looser modular improvisation depending on the room.
YouTube & Following
tafony has built a following of over 5,000 subscribers on YouTube making videos about Eurorack and modular synthesis. Content ranges from module demos and patch tutorials to the ongoing Rambling About series, a mix of reviews, walkthroughs, and studio rambling for the modular gear community.
